She’s seen the ‘big yard’ with her song“A Tribute to Stalin/One love” back in 2016, She has been a member of the Divas Calypso tent for the past 12 years. In addition, she is a level four-voice major at the ‘The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago(COSTAATT). No matter the audience, Calypsonian Stacy Sobers -Abraham’s messages come through loud, clear and memorable with her direct and powerful vocals.

This year, Sobers-Abraham has made it to the Calypso Queen competition finals and her eyes are also set on making her mask at the Calypso Monarch competition. Her two contributions ‘A People of Substance’ and ‘The Art of Double Entendre’ has been receiving remarkable feedback for her call to arms, telling people to stop making excuses about not being able to achieve what they want in life. In song, she advises her audience to not just earn a dollar for today but to invest in the future so that the generation to come can truly enjoy wealth.

Her life in the calypso tent began with Klassic Russo and her hit Soca track ‘Let Me Know!’ She then became a member of since 2005. Indeed, she is enjoying the limelight, and continues to grow and advance in her chosen specialities.
